Applicant Mobile Messaging Terms

Program description

K1 Group and K1 Logistics Inc (“K1,” “we,” “us”) may send automated text messages (SMS) about your CDL driver application when you opt in on our careers / opportunities forms.

These messages are for application status and hiring process updates from the time you submit an application through completed orientation (and related next steps we tell you about in the message). They are not marketing ads for unrelated products.

Examples of status texts (not a complete list):

  • We received your application / phone verified
  • A recruiter will contact you / tried to reach you
  • Documents or background steps requested
  • Offer / next interview update
  • Orientation scheduled or completed

Phone verification texts (for example, “reply YES to confirm this phone”) are a separate, limited use of SMS to confirm the number you provided. Status-tracking texts are sent only if you separately check the status-updates consent box.

Who messages come from

Messages may come from K1 recruiting numbers, including but not limited to:

  • (817) 670-4273 — phone verification and related recruiting SMS
  • Additional K1 Twilio numbers designated for status updates (if enabled later)

Message frequency varies based on your application progress. Typical volume for a full journey is under 8 status messages, plus any one-time verification texts.

Consent

By checking the SMS status-updates box on our application form (or otherwise clearly opting in), you provide express consent for K1 to send automated SMS to the mobile number you provide about your application status through completed orientation.

  • Consent is not a condition of applying or of employment.
  • You can apply without checking the status box.
  • Checking the box is optional.
  • Reply YES to a verification text only confirms the phone number; it does not by itself enroll you in ongoing status updates unless you also checked the status box.

Opt out / help

  • Reply STOP to cancel. You will receive a one-time confirmation.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email info@k1group.net / call (855) 558-1118.

Rates and carriers

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

What we collect for messaging

For SMS we use: the mobile number you give us, your name as entered on the form, application identifiers, and status milestones. We do not sell your phone number. These Messaging Terms control for texting.
